Richard Sampey Floyd, Jr., is the Founder & CEO of ProsperQuest, an empowerment, benefit and service provider membership organization. Born and raised in Kentucky, son of an ordained Southern Baptist Minister, grandson of Baptist Evangelist Mordecai Ham and great grandson of Dr. John Richard Sampey, former president of the Louisville Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and the Southern Baptist Convention. He served as the Bishop of the Memphis First Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 2001 to 2007, and currently serves as a member of the LDS Memphis Tennessee North Stake High (Advisory) Council. He and his wife of 39 years, Rita, moved in 1984 to Memphis, and are blessed with four adult children and three grandchildren.
