Burton Carley @burtonfaithinmemphis ?

The Reverend Burton Dean Carley is minister of the First Unitarian Church of Memphis (The Church of the River), a member of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). He previously served congregations in Massachusetts and Louisiana. He is a past president of the Memphis Ministers Association and was a founding member of Shelby County Interfaith. He is active in leadership of the Southwestern Unitarian Universalist Conference and served in national leadership for ten years on the UUA Board of Trustees. He holds a Master of Theology from Boston University School of Theology. A native of Texas, he is married to Betsy Mandel-Carley, a clinical social worker in private practice. They have a son and two granddaughters.
