Thanks skipping

Looking at the merchants,Thanksgiving has not so much been commercialized as skipped. Many stores have immediately replaced their Halloween items with Christmas wares. However many, if not most families seem to be holding on the the essence of Thanksgiving Day: gathering in gratitude for God’s manifold blessings. May the gratitude around our tables this year purify our relationship to God and fuel our caring for one another.
