Congregational supports system

We know that economic and interpersonal stresses increase vulnerability to mental illness and depression and that we live in very challenging times. We give thanks for those that give their time to the Memphis Crisis Center suicide prevention hotline and for all those who work in the area of mental health. We give thanks that there are excellent and successful treatment options available for those who believe there is no hope. As congregations we should support and encourage these valuable community agencies and seek out and embrace those who face life’s difficult circumstances with our presence, our love and our resources.
