Better Together at Rhodes College, a student interfaith organization, has won the Interfaith Youth Core’s Biggest Campus Impact Award for 2013.
Rhodes tied with Concordia College of Moorehead, Minn.
Winners receive $500 to increase the scope of their Better Together campaigns as well as two free registrations to an Interfaith Leadership Institute within the coming year.
“At Rhodes College, our dream of interfaith cooperation on campus is finally coming to life. Receiving the Biggest Campus Impact Award from the Interfaith Youth Core after three years of hard work is humbling, but it also motivates our team to continue our work at Rhodes,” said Rhodes rising senior Noor O. Eltayech, who is the interfaith coordinator and Better Together leader at Rhodes.
The program is supervised by Chaplain Walter Tennyson.
