Cliff the site of political suicide

Our problems are rooted in our priorities.
Republican legislative proposals indicate that we are more concerned with filling private jails and prisons than we in reducing crime and increasing graduation rates of our youth. We seem to have a pathological propensity to develop large military budgets to stockpile guided missiles and not regulate the misguided persons of Wall Street.
Dr. Martin L. King Jr. was assassinated for trying to change our priorities. He wanted America to end the Vietnam War and re-invest those wasted funds in fighting the war on poverty in America. For America to remain the strong Nation we are, our priorities must be changed (we are out of options).
If the Grand Old Party did not learn to count in this past election, Democratic candidates will win the White House for the next 20 years. There is no value or political benefits in casting your lot with the two percent of the population at the neglect of the 98 percent of the population. Do the math and realize this is political game of “Chicken”. Trust me, the better-thinking members of the GOP will veer off before we reach the cliff.
