Admit that the other side has a case

If you were addressing the nation on Wednesday, Nov. 7, the DAY AFTER the election, what would you say? What advice would you offer to your fellow Americans about the next four years?

“Now you can admit that the ‘other side’ has a real case to make. If you are a liberal, watch, listen to and read thinking conservatives. If you are a conservative, do the same with thinking liberals. And don’t insist on ideological purity from candidates or office holders. That is the road to an extremism which divides our country even more and makes a broken system even harder to repair.”
