Two separate walks for peace are being held today.

Rev. DeAndre Brown and LifeLine2Success is hosting its Second Annual Peace Walk starting at 8 a.m. at 1647 Dellwood in Frayser.

Meanwhile, First Baptist Church of Memphis and the Pema Karpo Center are co-hosting a “Family Walk for Peace” beginning at 5 p.m. in Overton Park. The second walk is part of the Center’s annual Festival of Peace and Harmony.

The public is invited to participate in both walks.
