Two local congregations have new ministers.

David Nance is the minister of Ellendale Church of Christ. Nance, 56, who claims Texas as home, has been living in Mason, Tenn., for the past five years while working with Marion (Ark.) Church of Christ to build a children’s home in India. Nance’s wife is a Tipton County native.

Magnolia First Baptist Church on South Cooper also has a new pastor. Rev. Aaron Kennedy Letcher will deliver his first sermon at 10:45 a.m. Sunday.  The 86-year-old congregation has been without a pastor for about 15 months.
