Who/what is an American? What does America mean to you and your faith?

The USA is the world’s unique country. There is no other country like it in the entire universe. It is also an ever changing nation – once an all English speaking land, today, like at Pentecost, all are hearing and speaking in different tongues. Just imagine if we were all compelled to speak in Greek! Wow! American is also a land of changing values which immigrants have brought with them. But, we are a land of law, therefore when we disagree we have the Supreme Court to rely on. And if we disagree with it, all we have to do is be patient. It will change again! In the meantime we will not live in anarchy. We are governed by laws. Thank God for America and God bless America on this 4th of July weekend. For me, my Faith and my Country are my two loves and I am allowed to love and practice both of them in this wonderful country!
