Who/what is an American? What does America mean to you and your faith?
Who and what is an American? That is a question that should never be raised in this country. This country has been the Citadel of Hope for countless generations from the world over. However, there is an extraordinary politic being practiced in this land today. The immigration door is selectively shut upon those who come to this country from black and brown impoverished foreign countries. There is a racist politic born of fear and selfishness that has created reactionary philosophical and moral standards that are ambiguous to what America was founded upon. Exclusion, unreasonable exclusion is the order of the day. It will take charismatic and ideal leadership to help America rediscover who and what we were. I don’t advocated open borders. Something has to be done. I hope to see a fair and unbiased immigration standard in this land of hope and opportunity. No! Open borders represent anarchy for most. An unbridled immigration policy represents irony for Native Americans. Think about that!
