Declining spiritual infrastructure

What concerns you most about Memphis?

Any city has municipal infrastructure of electric lines, water lines, and sewer lines. Cities also have spiritual infrastructure. Houses of worship that support the moral, spiritual, and ethical climate of the community. I am concerned that the spiritual infrastructure of Memphis is declining. Part of this problem is focus. We hear more about murders than random acts of kindness and goodness. Most of this problem can be resolved if we will turn our focus back to the God of the Bible. Evangelicals call it revival. It means “to live again.” Everyone needs revival…you, me, and this city that we love.
